Enterprise Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting

Irus Group has been providing clients with Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting solution using the leading technologies from Oracle, Hyperion, Cognos and other vendors. The process may entail setting up links between the OLAP product and General Ledger GL, acquire all segment information, actual data and provide an organizational structure-based multi-tier system to input and review budgets, incorporate approval and rule-based workflow. We also perform analysis, create reports and even write back finalized budget back to the ledger. As an ongoing process of budget versus actual monitoring, we set up reports to show the variance and even set up forecasts to enable the user to monitor and track the business performance versus the anticipated performance.

Customer Profitability Analysis

Irus Group has been actively involved in building customer profitability systems for its clients because of its vast experience in the OLAP arena. Generally revenue data could be 90 percent attributed to a customer but the expense cannot be specifically tracked by customer. In such cases, Irus Group helps its clients perform allocations and render data attributed to customers, thus empowering the user to create customer-specific Profit and Loss Statements to make better, informed decisions when providing service to its customers.

Product Profitability Analysis

Enterprise Financial Reporting

Generally ERP reports are static and do not allow any analytical capabilities. Irus Group provides its clients with solutions to make those static day-to-day reports dynamic and multidimensional and thus enable analytic capabilities using tools like Oracle Discoverer, OFA, OSA, MicroStrategy or Cognos.

Balanced Scorecard

As organizations have started to realize that monitoring organizational performance does not mean just monitoring financial outcomes, like revenue or P&L Analysis, but also monitoring the non-numeric strategy-focused tactical activities that cause the financial outcome. To help our clients realize and monitor the strategy focused tactical activities that cause the financial outcome we have been helping clients use and understand Balanced Scorecard methodology using Oracle Balanced Scorecard.

We are on the leading edge of implementing the Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPB) application, with a standardized analytic data model, enabling a host of analytic applications to share common dimensions and OLAP capabilities from the same applications database instance as other enterprise applications. This enables future integration at the data source level, as well as a variety of strategic planning and analysis capabilities - such as activity based costing and value based management - with a common user interface and little or no data movement, leveraging recent innovations within the Oracle database platform. This implementation of Enterprise Planning and Budgeting allows planning and budgeting to be a complete process-based application, with a data model, workflow and approval processes predefined yet customized to individual firms’ needs.
