The Irus Group, Inc. quality control program is designed to maintain success within the domains and task areas by becoming intimately familiar and involved with the processes and needs of the respective areas. We support team leads in identifying, resolving and documenting all issues and risks to the program while maintaining awareness of the project schedule at all times and thus are able to sustain progress throughout all of the task areas. The Irus Group, Inc. ensures an updated and accurate project schedule by monitoring daily time entry compliance by task areas and maintaining extensive communication with the team leads to understand the importance of project management processes. The Irus Group, Inc.'s quality control program describes the methods and resources allocated to support quality assurance, quality control and quality improvement activities within the project. The Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) describes, in detail, the processes and rules for implementing the quality management activities. The Irus Group, Inc. uses the QAP as the basis for performing the quality management activities for the project. Quality management activities will occur throughout the life of the project. The Irus Group, Inc. will focus on: Processes for gathering requirements and engineering specifications Design (preliminary and critical) Code development Implementation Testing Integration Documentation and deliverable development Defect data collection and analysis
The QAP is a subsection of the Project Management Plan. The Irus Group, Inc. develops it in detail as part of that deliverable. Standards and Procedures The Irus Group, Inc. bases the quality control program on the following standards and procedures: Quality Assurance Plan Designing and using document templates Writing guidelines Quality assurance process flow Document quality assurance (QA) checklist
At The Irus Group, Inc., quality assurance and quality control are separate components in the overall process of measuring quality. Quality assurance is a function that manages quality. Quality control is the process of measuring deliverables against standards. Quality assurance uses the results of quality control to evaluate and improve the "processes" that produce the deliverables. Thus, quality assurance works with the processes, and quality control works with the deliverables. Quality Assurance The Irus Group, Inc. quality assurance activities focus on the processes used to manage and deliver the solution. The activities are performed by designated individuals of the project team (referred to as the virtual Quality Assurance team) and may also include other business sponsors, or authorized third-party reviewer. The Irus Group, Inc. Quality Assurance approach requires deliverables to be self-evident, self-explanatory and compliant with applicable standards. | | Quality Control The Irus Group, Inc. will perform the following quality assurance activities: - Coordinates distribution, preparation and review work products in preparation for client delivery
- Conducts processes and procedures audits to validate compliance with applicable standards
- Conducts assessments, evaluations and reviews throughout the engagement
Conducts deliverable reviews with author and peer reviewers - Reports performance of deliverable review cycles
- Tracks and reports issues and non-compliance to the program executive
The Irus Group, Inc. details these QA processes in the QAP. They include: - Quality reviews
- Deliverable and lifecycle management
- Peer reviews
- Risk mitigation and strategy
Quality Reviews The Irus Group, Inc. completes quality reviews to validate that deliverables are completed with an acceptable level of quality. We base our approach for quality reviews on the definition of completeness, correctness and acceptance criteria assigned to the artifact. The project team should agree to the criteria (e.g., standards and procedures) used to determine when a deliverable is correct, complete and ready for presentation to the client. The Irus Group, Inc. evaluates the deliverables against these criteria before they are formally approved. |
